Meet Toni
Toni Avery is an artist working primarily in the Pacific Northwest. Her images reflect the range and diversity of the surrounding landscapes from the high desert, forests, beaches, and surrounding farmland of the Willamette Valley, to abstracts and still life.
After receiving her Art degree, Toni worked as a Design Consultant but was never far from her love of painting and photography.
Today she uses some her photographs as subject matter for paintings, referring to them only as “points of departure”, but it is her unique vision that completes a painting.
Toni’s paintings have been awarded multiple Blue Ribbons and Best of Show as she continues to take part in juried group shows around Oregon each year and currently has her work showing at Giustina Gallery (Oregon State University), Cannon Beach Gallery, Oregon, Fairweather Gallery, Seaside Oregon and the High Desert Museum in Bend Oregon.
Toni’s artwork has been integrated into the architecture of local commercial buildings in the Portland area. In addition, her artwork is included in both private and public collections such as Seaside Oregon Convention Center’s permanent collection and Kaiser Permanente’s, “Healing Artwork Collection,” on display at the Westside Medical Centers in Hillsboro and Beaverton, Oregon and across the Kaiser Permanente health system in the western region. Toni’ artwork is also featured in their 2013 publication, “Tranquil Relief Through Nature.”
She has been a judge at both the Lakewood Center’s Festival of the Arts in Lake Oswego Oregon and Charbonneau Oregon’s annual Art show, Art Flair.
